ESTEVAN - Local hockey fans will have another team to support next season.
The Estevan Minor Hockey Association announced Wednesday that it had been granted a U13 AA female team for next season. The team will be competing in the Saskatchewan Female Hockey League's U13 AA division.
Other teams in the U13 AA loop include the Battlefords, Western Prairie (Rosetown), Saskatoon, Warman, Prince Albert, Northeast (Star City), Swift Current, Lumsden-Bethune and Weyburn.
Estevan currently has two U13 A teams competing in the Saskatchewan Female Hockey League's U13 A division: the Estevan Power Dodge Bearcats 1 and 2 squads.
