Busy times for Carlyle 10 & unders

On Nov. 21st, 2010 the Carlyle 10 & unders headed to Arcola for their first matchup. A great game was expected and the fans were not disappointed. Arcola came out strong in the first and the Cougars found themselves down by 3 going into the second.

On Nov. 21st, 2010 the Carlyle 10 & unders headed to Arcola for their first matchup. A great game was expected and the fans were not disappointed. Arcola came out strong in the first and the Cougars found themselves down by 3 going into the second. Carlyle took the second period scoring 4 goals to Arcola's 3 but Arcola came back strong taking the win 9-7.

Dec. 3rd saw Carlyle hosting Arcola for their second match-up. Carlyle played a strong game and found themselves all tied at 3-3 after two periods of play, but once again Arcola came away with the win.

On Dec. 4th Carlyle played host to Kipling. Carlyle was the first to put a mark on the score board when Karli Colpitts picked up a pass from her younger brother Tyler. Easton Bitternose blasted one passed Kipling's goalie along with Nathan Bye and Makenna Morrison ending the first 4-0. Carlyle completely dominated in the second scoring 7 goals to Kipling's 1. Goals were scored by Karli Colpitts 2, Makenna Morrison 2, Jace Fisher 1, Aaron Chapman 1 and Nathan Bye 1. Nathan Bye scored our only goal in the third to Kipling's 3 but Carlyle successfully took the win 12-4. Tyler Colpitts had two break-aways this game which proved once again he has no trouble keeping up with this older team. Raine Smith and Kyle Bye along with goalie Devon Sanders stopped Kipling many times from getting any scoring opportunities.

his weekend the team will be heading out to Weyburn for a two day tournament. Good luck team!
