The Estevan Dayman Trucking Bulldogs posted a 1-1-1 record in three games on the weekend, including their first loss of the regular season.
The female bantam A squad tied the Fort Qu'Appelle Flyers 2-2 at home on Friday, defeated the Swift Current Colts 9-2 on the road Saturday and lost 2-1 to the Diefenbaker Thunder in Loreburn on Sunday.
Shania Taylor had the Bulldogs' only goal Sunday midway through the second period. Ashlyn Connor and Kaci Jones scored for the Thunder.
On Saturday, the Bulldogs took a 3-0 lead over Swift Current after the first and didn't look back.
Taylor led Estevan with four goals, while Haley Ronyk had a hat trick and Hailey Dukart added two tallies. Stevie Gross and Lexie Wall scored for Swift Current.
On Friday, the Bulldogs took a 2-0 lead after the first on a pair of goals by Ronyk, but the Flyers got goals from Joelle Petrar and Kyra Sorenson later in the game to salvage a draw.
The Estevan Century 21 Bruins ran their record to 7-1 in the Hockey Regina bantam Tier II division with a 2-1 victory over the Regina Avalanche Friday at Spectra Place.
All of the scoring came in the second period.
Estevan's Ryan Stovin struck first 49 seconds into the period, with Wyatt Bayliss drawing the assist.
J.J. Holma made it 2-0 at the 12:03 mark from Cameron Biette and Karson Whitman. Regina's lone goal came with 1:47 left in the period, courtesy of Liam Carignan. The Bruins will be in Melfort this weekend for a bantam A tournament.
The Estevan Power Dodge Chargers edged the Wood River Ice Cats 6-5 on Saturday at the Civic Auditorium.
Kayla Grube (2), Brooklyn Dukart (2), Mariah McKersie, and Jessica Pele scored for the Chargers.
Bailey Briere (2), Raela Colliness, Ashten Sinclair and Kelsey Zerr had the Wood River goals.
The Chargers also tied the Fort Qu'Appelle Flyers 2-2 on Nov. 19.
Pele and Dukart scored for Estevan, with Sierra Glass and Kyra Sorenson replying for the Flyers.
The Estevan Sherritt Coal midget A Bruins had a field day with Weyburn on Nov. 21 in Midale.
The Bruins demolished Weyburn 19-2, which included 11 goals in the second period.
Cole Stevenson led Estevan with four goals. Landon Lavoie, Tyson Price, Stephan Peloquin and Ryan Shirley each had hat tricks. Preston Benning scored twice and Austin Spencer added a single. Jon Stadler and Wyatt Volbrecht scored for Weyburn.
