The Broken Arrow Youth Ranch held a golf tournament and pig roast at the Willow Bunch golf course on June 17. The fun event was a fundraiser for the ranch. While the weather threatened to end the tournament with a few brief showers of rain, it did not dampen the golfers’ spirits. The 18 golfers basked in the beauty and challenge of the Willow Bunch golf course.

Following the golf, the group was treated to a special supper. Perry Mah roasted a pig, preparing it with excellence. An additional 25 people joined the golfers for supper. After this wonderful meal, those present visited and soaked up the music played by Gina Stewart, Mark Elford and Ed Rigetti. The trio entertained on guitars and sang a variety of songs.

The Broken Arrow Youth Ranch extended its appreciation to all those who participated in the golf and supper. They also acknowledged their sponsors for their support, including PMP Powerline Construction Ltd, Taylor’s Auto Repair, Poplar River Mine at Coronach, Peavey Mart, Kal Tire, Young’s Equipment Inc., E Bourassa & Sons, FlexiFinger QD Industries, Conexus Credit Union, Able 2 Print, Assiniboia Veterinary Clinic and Munro Massage Therapy.
