Brendon Bill said he wanted to show everyone what he was made of.Saturday he looked like he was made of gold, winning all five of his races for the Estevan Golden Eels at the Swim Sask provincial championships in Swift Current.The 16 year old claimed provincial titles in the 200-metre freestyle, 200 m individual medley, 100 m breaststroke, 100 m freestyle, and 50 m freestyle, also claiming his overall age group title in the 15 to 17-year-old boys' division.Akeela Jundt, competing in the 18-and-over girls' class, did the same as the veteran Eels paced the club to a fourth overall finish.Estevan finished with 551 points, two back of Weyburn for third. Regina was second with 635 and the Swift Current Monarchs won their sixth straight provincial title with 824 points.Jundt's wins came in the 200 m freestyle, 200 m medley, 100 m breaststroke, 100 m freestyle, and 100 m backstroke.Other Eels to reach the podium Saturday in their respective age groups were Samuel Beahm (bronze, 200 m freestyle), Zachary Beahm (silver, 50 m backstroke), Auriel Bill (gold, 50 m freestyle; silver, 100 m freestyle), Lanelle Bilokraly (silver, 100 m breaststroke and 200 m medley), Brandon Graff (bronze, 200 m freestyle), Garret Ross (gold, 100 m medley), Josh Wilson (silver, 25 m butterfly; bronze, 25 m breaststroke); and Payten Wilson (bronze, 100 m medley).Estevan sent 18 swimmers to this year's provincials, up from the eight who combined for a fifth-place finish last year in Nipawin.See stats for complete results for the Eels from provincials.
