The Bantam Cougars travelled to Radville Nov.25 and Weyburn Nov.27.
The team played well both these games. Lots of passing and teamwork led the Cougars to victory in both these games. 4-3 vs.Radville and 11-0 vs Weyburn Co-op. Dec1 the team was back at home to square off against the Radville team once again. The Cougars came out strong in the first period notching 4 goals to Radville's 1. Second period the Cougars stayed strong dominating most of the play in Radville territory, adding another three points to the board. Third period saw a change in momentum when Radville was to net 3 goals making their total 5 and Carlyle getting a single point. This could have been because the Cougars played 14 out of the 20 minutes short handed?! Final score was 8-5 Carlyle. Goals and assists this game went to: Bailey Stigings (1 goal, 1 assist), Masen Big Eagle (1 goal, 1 assist), Riley Smith (1 goal),Drake Smith (3 goals, 1 assist),Brett Turgeon (1 goal, 1 assist), Marc Shaw (1 goal), Evan Anderson (3 assists)and Brayden Starr ( 2 assists).The defense played a solid game tonight. Dec 5 the Cougars travelled to Estevan and came home with a 14-2 win.
