A large gathering of potential Weyburn Minor Football athletes dog-pile University of Rams players, and local youth, Brett Jones and Kyle Paterson, each holding the football. Partnering with the Weyburn Rider Nation, the Minor Football Association will be volunteering at the Rider Roundup on Friday, May 14. Roughrider fans from the community are invited out to the Roundup, which has been organized to showcase Weyburn's 'green-and-white' pride in the Roughriders Where is Riderville contest? Access 7 Weyburn will be attending the event and filming to create the video submission which the Weyburn Rider Nation will be entering into the Riderville competition. Roundup events are being planned for Friday that will suit fans of any age, with activities at the Comp track if it is sunny and nice, or at the Weyburn Curling Rink in case of rain. Roughriders fans are encouraged to come down, show their pride, help Weyburn become Riderville, and have a chance to visit with Roughrider athletes and Gainer the Gopher.
