Â鶹´«Ã½AVern Saskatchewan is slowly emerging from the blizzard that hammered the region Monday and into early Tuesday.

Most of the highways are open once again, although there are a few that remain closed in the south. Some highways have travel not recommended advisories.

Some highways in the Moose Jaw and Regina areas are shut down.

Meanwhile, the highways around Estevan and Weyburn are open again, and they report that winter conditions exist.

Many vehicles were stranded on highways Monday night.

The storm has also caused a number of power outages in southern Saskatchewan. SaskPower crews were delayed in their response due to the hazardous conditions.

A blizzard warning remains in effect for southeast Saskatchewan.
