The City of Weyburn announced Whitecap Resources Inc. has sponsored several public swimming sessions on Sunday evenings at the Weyburn Leisure Centre this winter.
The sponsored public swims are family-focused and will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. on the second Sunday of every month, starting November and running through February. The first session of swimming was on Sunday afternoon.
“We are grateful to Whitecap Resources for sponsoring this opportunity for Weyburn residents and are hopeful that the community will utilize these swim times to get out and be active at no cost,” said Tina Clay, City of Weyburn program manager.
“Whitecap is pleased to help provide the opportunity for families to get out and be active through the cold winter months,” Ronalee Larson, spokesperson for Whitecap Resources Inc.
