Toys to be collected to help out the Salvation Army for Christmas hampers
8491-Toy Run
Santa and the Independent Riders will once more collect toys for the Salvation Army in the Toy Run, such as shown here from a year ago.

The Weyburn Independent Riders will once more gather to ride their motorcycles and gather toys for the annual Santa Claus Toy Parade, for the Salvation Army.

The Toy Run will take place on Saturday, Sept. 11, starting at 1 p.m. from the east parking lot for Legacy Park Elementary School on Fifth Street.

The route will take the riders throughout the city, including through downtown on Third Street, and will end at River Park where the toys will be handed over to representatives of the Salvation Army.

The toys will be used in their Christmas hampers for Weyburn area families.

For two days before the Toy Run, the Riders will have their Santa sleigh at the Walmart parking lot to take toy donations, to allow any community members who wish to donate to help out the Salvation Army.
