WEYBURN – The Weyburn Police Service (WPS) announced the hiring of Nicole Robinson as the newest constable for the organization.
The 28-year-old from Canora, Sask., was formally sworn in at the WPS office on Monday and is on track to start her training at the Saskatchewan Police College in Regina on Jan. 8, 2024.
Robinson is excited to move to Weyburn with her fiancée and two young children. She brings valuable experience to the community’s police service as a former Correctional Officer.
“We are extremely proud to introduce Nicole as our newest member to our WPS family. Nicole impressed the hiring committee from start to finish in her maturity and family values,” said WPS Chief Jamie Blunden.
“We look forward to her success in college and wish her well in the upcoming recruit class. Please join me and our members in extending a huge Weyburn welcome to Nicole.”
