WEYBURN – The Weyburn Leisure Centre indoor swimming pool will be closed for the remainder of the season due to critical damages to mechanical equipment caused by flooding during the heavy rain event experienced on May 13.
Due to supply chain issues, an opening date for the outdoor pool is not yet known, however the City of Weyburn is working hard to source temporary solutions to ensure the outdoor swimming season is not lost.
Current Super Pass holders will receive pro-rated credits to their accounts and Leisure Centre Members will receive extensions to their memberships.
Those currently enrolled in courses and programs will be contacted with more information on reimbursements or rescheduling.
The City of Weyburn would like to thank the public for their patience at this time. More information regarding the outdoor pool opening date will be provided once it is available.
