WCS hosts the SHSAA Regional Soccer Finals for both boys and girls at Jubilee Park on Saturday, October 22 starting at 9:00 a.m. with four consecutive games throughout the day. Cost is $5.00. Come out and support the local teams and watch some entertaining soccer.
The junior girls volleyball team is in Yellow Grass and the senior team in Saskatoon for tournaments this weekend. The cross-country and football seasons came to an end last week.
The school will be hosting the Weyburn Communithon this weekend.
October 25 is Parent-Student-Teacher interviews at the school. Appointment times will be sent home and it is mandatory that every SAS teacher speak with the family about their student's progress. If Tuesday night meetings are not possible another time will be arranged.
Although it is more than a month away, make sure you mark down November 29 for the annual WCS Fowl Supper. This year, because of renovations in the library, guests will assemble in the gymnasium and be entertained by the school choirs from 4:45 to 6:00 p.m. The cafeteria stage will be reserved for the band, jazz band and STARS choir.
