The WCS girls and boys soccer teams attended the SHSAA provincial finals and although they did not return with a medal they did have a successful season. The senior girls volleyball team hosted the last home tournament of the year and are now preparing for SHSAA playoffs in November. The girls are defending provincial champions and are looking to return to the "big dance" to defend their title. This weekend the team is in Balgonie for the final tournament of the year.
Upcoming events at WCS include a fundraiser for the Triple C Center when the Weyburn Rotary Club sponsors Saskatoon's Trap Door Theater's presentation of "Vimy" on November 19. Also, the annual SRC Fowl Supper takes place on November 29.
