Investigation for impaired driving begins after vehicle collides with trees and fence in Estevan

Vehicle struck two trees and a fence in north-central Estevan.

The Estevan Police Service is investigating multiple collisions on Saturday night.

ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service has opened an impaired driving investigation as a result of a series of collisions in north-central Estevan during the Thanksgiving long weekend. 

According to information supplied by the EPS, a southbound vehicle struck a tree, then crossed the boulevard before entering an intersection. It then smacked a fence as well as another tree on the opposite side of the same intersection.

The vehicle sustained very heavy damage as a result and was towed from the scene.

The 38-year-old man from Argyle, Sask., was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital with undetermined injuries.

The matter remains under investigation.
