CARLYLE - To protect the health and safety of residents, customers and employees, beginning Nov. 1, anyone 18 years or older entering recreation and culture facilities in the Town of Carlyle must have received one approved COVID-19 vaccination by Nov. 1, and a second vaccination by Nov. 30, or provide proof of a negative test within 72 hours of entry into the facility.
The Town of Carlyle says it is prepared to suspend the use of any facility indefinitely if it is reported that this rule is not being endorsed or abided by its users or user groups.
This rule shall remain in effect until further review from Carlyle Town Council or until further changes are enforced by the Saskatchewan Government or Carlyle Parks, Recreation and Culture Department-related government bodies, whichever comes first.
These indoor facilities include Carlyle Memorial Hall, Carlyle Sports Arena, Carlyle Curling Club and Rusty Relics Museum.
Carlyle town council approved this action at their regular meeting Wednesday as an added safety measure to complement the Provincial Public Health Order, reduce confusion for customers and address the increasing spread of COVID-19 in our community.
The town thanks residents for their co-operation throughout the pandemic as the community works together to keep the community healthy and safe.
