Although they will be returning to their classrooms on Friday, Saskatchewan teachers stated they will be withdrawing their voluntary services beginning Monday, May 30. They will continue that practice "until a new contract agreement has been reached," a spokesman said on Thursday.
That means that classroom instruction and processes will return as usual but events involving out-of-classroom attendance such as coaching, officiating, monitoring, mentoring, or organizing events outside of regular classroom schedules, will not be attended to by teachers.
