This city tractor street-sweeper works at pushing out the flood waters lying on Highway 39 just near the Government Road bridge on Thursday. The Souris River had receded enough that the bridge is no longer under water, and with some of the water removed, Highway 39 was reopened to traffic on Thursday. Cleanup efforts are underway in and around the city, as the city and area residents and businesses try to recover from the biggest flood to hit the city and area in many years.
