WEYBURN – The first annual Â鶹´«Ã½AVeast College competition for hairstylists was held on Friday, with five competitors from three schools.
The first portion was an up-style. Madison Thiele placed first, Sydnee Bandola placed second, and Ashley Hughes placed third.
The second portion was a free-range cut and colour. Sydnee Bandola placed first, Madison Thiele placed second and Ashley Hughes placed third.
Their overall placing was, in first, Sydnee Bandola (Â鶹´«Ã½AVeast College Teach and Trim, Weyburn); second, Madison Thiele (Style Academy, Regina); third, Ashley Hughes (Elite training center, Moose Jaw).
