ESTEVAN - Many people stopped by the Souris Valley Museum Saturday afternoon to wish farewell to Mark Veneziano, its former curator and executive director.
Veneziano spent six years at the museum and helped it grow and develop.
He is transitioning to the RCMP Heritage Centre in Regina and taking the job as their new community education program co-ordinator. But he said he will be staying in touch and coming to visit.
On Saturday the current and former museum board members and staff thanked Veneziano for all he's done over the years and wished him the best in the future.
