Two serious events that occured during the past weekend have resulted in a number of charges and a continuing investigation by members of the Estevan Police Service (EPS)
The first incident occurred on the evening of Saturday, May 21, 2011 when a female was reportedly held against her will and threatened with a knife and assaulted. This matter is under investigation by the Estevan Police Service and no arrests have been made at this time.
The second incident occurred on the afternoon of Sunday, May 22, 2011.
The Estevan Police Service has six adults in custody, four males and two females who are charged with kidnapping, use of a firearm in the commission of an offence, extortion, assault with a weapon, death threats and other charges. They will make their first appearance in Estevan Court tomorrow at 10AM.
Three victims were taken against their will and two of them were assaulted with a tire iron, baseball bat, and a handgun.
The Estevan Police Service is looking for a seventh person and has issued a warrant for Mark L. DAVIS. He is described as 5'9" tall, 180 pounds, short brown hair, blue eyes, poor teeth and tattoos.
