REGINA — Update: Nov. 2, 3:45 p.m.: Regina police have identified the deceased young female discovered in an early morning call yesterday as a 16-year-old girl, and declared the incident a homicide.
The name of the deceased teen will not be made public, per the Youth Criminal Justice Act, said Regina police.
No potential suspects have yet been identified as involved with this incident, as both the Regina police and the Coroner's Service continue to investigation
This is the city's 12th homicide of the year.

Nov. 2 at 2 p.m.: The Regina Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are looking into the death of a young woman found in the Parliament Place area of the city on Monday.
Police were dispatched to a call involving weapons at approximately 2 a.m. on Nov. 1, to a residence on the 1200 block of Rae Street.
Upon arrival, officers found a young woman outside the home who appeared to be deceased, later confirmed by EMS.
An injured man was also found, who was taken to hospital to receive treatment.
Several other police units were also on scene, including the canine unit.
The RPS statement does not indicate investigators are considering the incident a homicide.
