REGINA — The Regina Farmers’ Market will move to the REAL District for their Saturday markets.

The move from the Pat Fiacco Plaza comes as the City of Regina is set to start construction on the 11 Avenue revitalization project.

Starting May 4, the Saturday markets will move to Confederation Park every Saturday until October 12.

The Wednesday market will stay downtown but shift to the northeast part of Victoria Park at the 1900 block of Scarth Street.

The first Wednesday market is set for May 8.

“Confederation Park offers RFM vendors and patrons the best of both worlds,” says Holly Laird, the Executive Director of the Regina Farmer’s Market. “We can maintain the ambiance of the farmers’ market that everyone loves while checking the logistical boxes. Hopefully, it will be the perfect compromise, especially since we can keep Wednesdays downtown.”
