Update: Rainfall warning lifted

A rainfall warning is now in effect for southern Saskatchewan.

SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN - Environment Canada has lifted the rainfall warning that was in effect for southern Saskatchewan, including Estevan, Carlyle, Weyburn, Assiniboia and the surrounding areas.

Environment Canada issued the warning early Thursday afternoon. It stated that heavy rainfall over southern Saskatchewan will begin Thursday.

The warning was lifted Saturday afternoon, but only after sustained precipitation in southern Saskatchewan.
