Kaydence Knaus, left, looks a bit worried as she learns that the cat, Baby, doesn't have a home or family while Lyle Ruckaber, Konnor Thue and Brooke Thue pet the large cat. The children met Baby, who is currently up for adoption through the Humane Society, during an open house and barbecue celebration at Prairie Animal Health Centre during Animal Health Week on Oct. 5. The barbecue raised money for the Humane Society and an open petting zoo and pony rides attracted many families with young children.
