On March 25, a 44-year-old Estevan man was charged with impaired driving and for refusing to provide a sample in a road-side screening device.

The man is now scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

On that same day, police responded to a domestic disturbance report in the central part of the city. When they arrived, Estevan Police Service (EPS) members took a 32-year-old man into custody and lodged him in cells so he could be monitored until he regained sobriety.

Later that same day, police arrested and charged a 16-year-old Estevan male with possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on the outskirts of the city.

The young man now has a court date in May to answer to the charges.

Police next arrested a 20-year-old Estevan man following a traffic stop in the central part of the city. It was discovered the man had warrants issued against him by the Estevan RCMP and was seen to be in breach of court ordered release conditions so he was charged and is now scheduled to appear in court in April to answer to all the charges now pending.
