BIENFAIT - The town of Bienfait invited the southeast over for a Canada Day parade Friday morning.
The parade took a new route, starting from Weldon School and then going all around the community to finish at the school.
Excited participants showered the spectators with candies, bubbles and even a bit of water sprinkles.
Canada Day celebration will continue in Bienfait with many options for entertainment for all ages, including a dunk tank, bouncy houses, bingo at the legion, slo-pitch, toonie swim, firemen vs. farmers, mini firemen's rodeo, petting zoo and firemen cabaret. Food is available at many locations across the community.
The day will come to an end with fireworks at dusk (around 9:30-9:45 p.m.).
