One of Canada'a top selling country artists will be performing in Estevan in March.
It was announced Monday morning that Paul Brandt has been booked for a show at Spectra Place March 9.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale to the general public Friday. There will be a presale Wednesday for people who purchased seats in the Spectra Place fundraising campaign. On Thursday there will be a presale for Estevan Bruins season ticket holders. Tickets for the presale may be purchased at Henders Drugs. When tickets go out to the general public they may be purchased at either Henders Drugs or online at www.ticketmaster.ca
Tickets for the concert are $29.50, $47.50 and $69.50 plus applicable service charges. The event is an all ages show.
On the heels of a successful tour earlier this fall, Brandt will be hitting the road again in the spring with dates in Estevan, Kamloops, Prince George, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Brandon. The tour is in support of his newest release Give It Away which apparently showcases his exploration of new musical and lyrical territory. However Brandt also remains true to the sound and voice his fans have come to enjoy. The Give It Away album also features revisited versions of Brandt's international smash hits I Do and My Heart Has A History.
The title track to Give It Away was inspired by Brandt's interactions and experiences during the filming of Build it Forward, a CMT Canada documentary series.
Brandt also recently released The NOW box set to commemorate 15 years of recording and international touring. The entire Brandt catalogue of albums are included in the NOW Box Set (Small Towns & Big Dreams, This Time Around, Risk, and A Gift) and have all been recognized with album of the year awards. The set also includes his new album Give It Away, a retrospective DVD, the NOW Book and additional previously unreleased material.

The Calgary born artist is the most awarded male Canadian country singer in history. He caught his first big break in 1996 with the single My Heart has a History, which hit number one in Canada and made him the first Canadian male country artist to reach the Billboard Top Ten in the U.S. since Hank Snow in 1974.
In addition to his music, Brandt is also a philanthropist, working with a number of charities, including his own foundation, The Priceless Gift of Hope Foundation, and is also involved with humanitarian pursuits around the globe.
