The Family Place has announced the creation of The Family Place Play School.
The Play School is a completely different concept and entity from the existing Tiny-Go and Mini-Go School programs.
The Family Place Play School will accept three and four year olds who do not require an intensive pre-kindergarten setting.
It will be facilitated in the Mini-Go School space in the afternoons. The program for three year olds will run Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and the four year old program will run Wednesdays and Fridays.
Staffing will include a qualified teacher and three experienced educational assistants.
There will be a monthly fee for this program which will cover the tuition and nutritious snacks. Additional fundraising will not be required; general volunteerism is optional. Transportation to and from play school is available for an additional fee.
There will be a maximum of 25 openings for each age group. Applications will be available immediately.
