A 46-year-old man was arrested and charged with committing a number of offences when he was picked up by members of the Estevan Police Service (EPS) during the day of April 5.
The man was charged with dangerous driving, failing to remain at the scene of an accident, impaired driving and for refusing to provide a breath sample plus uttering threats, obstructing a peace officer and for not having a driver's licence.
The man will appear in court at a later date to respond to the seven charges.
On the night of April 6, a 19-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants and for being in breach of a probation order.
That same night a 53-year-old Estevan man was issued a 24-hour driver's licence suspension.
Police also attended to a local lounge on the night of April 6 to remove a man who was refusing to leave the premises after being asked to do so. The issue was resolved with no charges or arrest being required.
On that same evening, EPS members attended to a noisy party and issued a warning under the local noise bylaw and no further action was required.
On the night of April 7 and early morning hours of April 8, a 21-year-old man was arrested following a short chase on foot and was subsequently lodged in cells. The man was wanted regarding a mischief complaint and for being intoxicated in a public place after police had received a call regarding a person running around on the roof of a local vehicle dealership.
A complaint of a break, enter and theft was checked into by EPS members that same night. A suite on Dufferin Avenue had been broken into and a number of items had been removed while the two male occupants of the unit were sleeping.
