Jaws of Life employed for accident near Weyburn

The Weyburn Fire Department dealt with a few incidents recently: *On July 4 there was a motor vehicle accident eight kilometres east on Highway 13.

The Weyburn Fire Department dealt with a few incidents recently:

*On July 4 there was a motor vehicle accident eight kilometres east on Highway 13. Upon arrival, fire crews found that two vehicles were involved and the Jaws of Life needed to be employed in order to free the driver of one of the vehicles. Five people were transported to hospital by ambulance.

*On July 3, there was a structural fire in the RM of Weyburn. The workshop was a total loss and the matter is under investigation.

*On July 2 there was a passenger vehicle fire just off of Government Road. The fire resulted in minor damage to the engine compartment.
