ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service was called to central Estevan to help deal with a trespasser.
The first call came in on May 28 from an apartment building. The EPS attended and the female individual was found inside and refused to leave. Charges under the Trespass Act were laid and she was released.
According to an EPS media release, later in the afternoon, she returned to the building and began causing a disturbance. Members were called back, at which time an arrest was made and the individual was transported to the police station. Further charges have been laid including causing a disturbance under the Criminal Code and another charge of trespassing under the Trespass to Property Act.
The 28-year-old Estevan woman was released by a justice with the appropriate conditions and is scheduled to make a court appearance on Aug. 14 in Estevan Provincial Court.
The same day, members attended to a central Estevan residence on the report of a domestic issue. With the assistance of the Police and Crisis Team, the matter was resolved without further incident.

Police received 32 calls for service from Friday afternoon until Monday morning.
Police are investigating a breach of conditions. Officers had a complaint that a male was contacting a female from the Correctional Centre contrary to an order by a justice. The matter is under investigation as police obtain statements.
A wanted male and female reached out to the EPS to look at turning themselves in. They have been in B.C. for the last few years and wanted to clear up their outstanding charges. The EPS were able to help facilitate this and they turned themselves in on Monday morning. All matters have been resolved.
