WEYBURN – The organizational meeting for the Holy Family Roman Catholic Separate School Division was held at their November meeting on Wednesday, with Bruno Tuchscherer staying on as board chair.
New this year is Weyburn trustee Jerome Sidloski as the vice-chair.
Tuchscherer also serves as the provincial president of the Saskatchewan Catholic School Boards Association.
The audit committee includes Jerome Sidloski, Rocky Sidloski, Bruno Tuchscherer and Teresa VanDeSype.
The governance authority for Radville School includes Tuchscherer, Jerome Sidloski and VanDeSype.
The facilities committee includes VanDeSype, Beckey Franke, Rocky Sidloski and Kathie Yanko.
The Teacher Liaison committee has VanDeSype, Gil Sotto, Jerome Sidloski, Tuchscherer and Kate Maclean.
The LINC Negotiation committee includes Karen Melle, Rocky Sidloski, Maclean and Tuchscherer as an alternate. The selection committee for the Big Butte RCSSD bursary is Melle.
• In other board business, Holy Family will be celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2024.
It will mark the date in 2004 when the Estevan Roman Catholic Separate School Division and St. Olivier Roman Catholic Separate School Division amalgamated with the Weyburn Roman Catholic Separate School Division to form the Holy Family school division.
Preliminary plans to mark the anniversary were discussed for the staff awards event to be held in May of 2024.
