The Carlyle and District History Book Vol. II committee is getting ready to begin meeting again in the month of September, as the autumn activities begin to ramp up.

The committee has been graciously invited by the Homespun board to set up a table at Homespun Craft Show and Sale, which will be going on Sept. 18 and 19.

The committee is continuing to search for personal, family and business histories in the area since 1982, and welcomes anyone who would like to be involved as a volunteer in this important project to contact the committee as well.

Brochures have been distributed to provide information on how to prepare your personal, business, club, or family history for inclusion in the book.

As well, the brochure includes ordering information so you can pre-order your own copy of the Carlyle and District History Book Vol. II, as well as declare your interest in receiving a new copy of the original book.

You can pick up a copy of the brochure at the post office, town office, several downtown businesses, as well as the Carlyle Golf Club, Rusty Relics Museum and the Skyline Motor Inn.

They can also be found at several locations in White Bear First Nations and Kenosee Lake.

Look for the green and white information brochures!

For further information or for a copy of the brochure, please write the Carlyle and District History Book, Box 2013, Carlyle, Sk, SOC ORO

Also you can contact the committee via e-mail at [email protected]

You can also phone the committee at 453-2249 for more information.
