Environment Canada: Heat warning in the southeast lifted

Temperatures exceeded 30 C in many areas Wednesday and Thursday.

The heat warning has been lifted.

SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN - Environment Canada has lifted the heat warning for southern Saskatchewan.

The warning came to an end Thursday, but only after many areas in southern Saskatchewan exceeded 30 C in back-to-back days. 

Temperatures are expected to be more seasonal on Friday, and then heat is expected to return for the Labour Day long weekend.
