Last Thursday, during the noon hour, the staff and students had an opportunity to play volleyball against each other and against a team made up of EMT and RCMP members. All the school's volleyball players formed mixed teams to compete. In the end, both the RCMP team and Jackie VanDresar's team defeated the staff team. It was a lot of fun and a great opportunity for students to interact with local EMT and RCMP. Better luck next year, staff.

GFK's School Clothing is now available. Clothing images and order forms (with prices) are now available at the school for those wanting to order. Prices for clothing range from $10.00 to $110.00 and there is a wide range of choices for everyone. Check the school's blog for more information (Beat the Bells @ G.F. Kells).

The staff and students looked awesome in their green attire on Rider Pride Day last week. Though the game didn't turn out the way we would have liked, it was a great season and there is always next year. "Third time's a charm."

It was great to see so many parents out for parent-teacher interviews last week.

The annual Mosaic Meal is in the early planning stages. The date is set for Dec. 21. More details will follow.

Along with the school, the Student Council is fundraising in order to purchase two virtual information signs. We are looking for sponsorship with the potential for advertising on these high tech signs. Anyone interested should contact Mr. Howe at the school.
