WEYBURN – St. Michael School received a donation from a Weyburn company, and students made a donation to the Humane Society in this past week.
Kevin Becker and Tanya Gelowitz with Nexans Steelworkers Union presented a $300 cheque to Principal Dean Loberg at St. Michael School, to support the Clothes Closet and the purchase of warm winter clothing for students.
Students in Grade 7 raised over $1,200 through a school-wide raffle, and donated the money to the Weyburn Humane Society to help support the recovery from their recent devastating flood.
