QU'APPELLE – Police are looking for two people who decided paying for fuel was just not their thing.
The incident happened this morning at 10 a.m. when two suspects in a white Hyundai SUV with Saskatchewan license plate 357LXC filled up at the Domo in Qu'Appelle. After fuelling up with $102.03 worth of gas, they left the scene without paying.
"The license plate is also associated to a Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP file in which the plate was reported as stolen and associated to another vehicle," RCMP said in a crime watch advisory. "Indian Head RCMP are asking anyone with information about this incident to call the Indian Head detachment at (306) 695-5200."
Tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
A reader noted that the vehicle was stolen from their neighbour in Balgonie.
"They ditched the first stolen car just down the road at another neighbour's yard a quarter-mile west and was seen walking toward the vehicle in pictures," they said. "The plate was switched after it was stolen."
