ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service is investigating another theft that occurred in northeast Estevan.
At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 9, officers responded to a report of a break and enter on Edward Street. Preliminary findings suggest that unknown intruder(s) entered a residence while the owner was away. Several electronic items and some other items were stolen from the premises.
Officers have gathered some evidence from the scene and are looking for witnesses and surveillance footage from the area to help identify the individual(s) responsible for this crime.
"We are urging anyone with information related to this incident to come forward," the EPS said.
If anyone has any details or saw anything suspicious in the Edward Street neighbourhood on Oct. 9 from 7:30-11:30 p.m., please contact the EPS at 306-634-4767 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Police also handled a number of thefts in northeast Estevan last week.
