ESTEVAN - The Estevan Police Service (EPS) has announced charges against one person on drug-related charges.
Following an investigation conducted by the EPS Drug and Intelligence Unit, a search warrant, authorized under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, was executed on a residence in the Pleasantdale area in the early morning hours Friday.
Two individuals were arrested at the scene without incident, and a quantity of cocaine and Xanax tablets were located and seized.
As a result, Lucas Neil Story, 33, of Estevan has been charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of Xanax and possession of property obtained by crime.
Story was released in front of a justice of the peace on a release order with conditions. He will make his first appearance in Estevan Provincial Court on April 11.
