ESTEVAN - Members of the Estevan Police Service handled several calls for service on Wednesday.
Officers issued a 60-day driver’s licence suspension and three-day vehicle impoundment, after a 19-year-old motorist tested positive for THC on an oral fluid device during a traffic stop on Kensington Avenue.
Police issued a three-day driver’s licence suspension after a 45-year-old man tested positive for or THC on an oral fluid device during a traffic stop on Rooney Road. His vehicle was also impounded for three days.
Officers arrested and charged a 35-year-old Estevan man with obstruction and resisting arrest after a noise complaint on Valley Street. He was lodged in cells until sober and will appear in court in December to answer to the charges.
Members received a report of an hit-and-run accident at a business in the Pleasantdale area. The matter remains under investigation.
Police were dispatched to a residence in the downtown core for a report of a domestic dispute. All parties were spoken to and one left the residence without incident.
