REDVERS - After nearly three months of reduced hours, the Redvers Health Centre's emergency room is once again available to assist patients at any time.
A temporary disruption in the ER began May 8 due to a shortage of physicians in the community. The ER returned to normal operations on Aug. 4.
"Redvers has been fortunate enough to be able to recruit some additional physicians as well as some locum services," said Sheena Grimes, the director of primary health care for the southeast region.
During the disruption, emergency and acute-care services were only available Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. No emergency and acute care services were available on weekends or after 8 p.m. on weekdays.
