Estevan Police Service (EPS) have released the name of the man who died in the detention area of the EPS on Dec. 20. The man has been identified as Bradley Stephen Stadey, 52, originally from Ontario who had arrived in Estevan to seek employment.

Estevan Police Service (EPS) have released the name of the man who died in the detention area of the EPS on Dec. 20. The man has been identified as Bradley Stephen Stadey, 52, originally from Ontario who had arrived in Estevan to seek employment. He had no fixed address at the time of his death. The Regina Police Service's major crimes unit and the Chief Coroner's office are continuing their investigation into Stadey's death in compliance with the Police Act that also requires the appointment of an independent observer. The observer in this matter is Larry Peters, a retired Moose Jaw Police Service officer. The investigation into the death is ongoing as of Dec. 22.
