REGINA — The Regina Police Service reports they have begun a death investigation, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, after the discovery of a deceased person early this morning June 29.
According to Regina Police, they were dispatched at approximately 2:20 a.m., to the 1200 block of Rae Street.
After the police arrived there, they found a man who was confirmed deceased. The scene was secured by patrol officers and additional resources were requested including the Forensic Identification Unit and the coroner.
The scene remains secured and at this early stage of the investigation there are no other details being released. The investigation is ongoing in collaboration with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
