There was one new case of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on August 18, bringing the total to 1,582 total cases.Â
The newest case was located in the Saskatoon zone.
Of the 1,582 reported cases, 157 were considered active. A total of 1,403 people recovered.
Eight people were in hospital. Four people received inpatient care; two in the Â鶹´«Ã½AV West, one in Saskatoon and one in Regina.Â
Four people were in intensive care, all in Saskatoon.
Investigations completed thus far have found 107 of 157 active cases originated in communal living settings.
