City police seek help to solve thefts

The Weyburn Police Service are asking for the public's assistance in solving two recent thefts. The first one took place around Sept. 24 between the hours of 10 p.m. and 9 a.m. on Sept. 25, when police were told a motorcycle had been stolen.

The Weyburn Police Service are asking for the public's assistance in solving two recent thefts.

The first one took place around Sept. 24 between the hours of 10 p.m. and 9 a.m. on Sept. 25, when police were told a motorcycle had been stolen.

The motorcycle is described as a 2010 Kawasaki Sport Ninja 250cc bike, green in colour. The motorcycle went missing from the north side of Weyburn, and was later found a short distance away; the bike received minor damages to it.

Then on Oct. 31, police received a complaint of a missing farm cart from a residence located in the northeast part of the city.

The farm cart is described as dark grey in colour, with one wheel darker than the other.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for these or any serious offence.
