ESTEVAN — The Sunflower Network will be a beneficiary of the Last-minute Christmas Ukrainian Fundraiser by Twyla Bauman.
The event is slated to take place Dec. 14 from 6-9 p.m. at the Western Star Hotel in Estevan.
Bauman has decided to exit Pampered Chef and will be clearing out her overstock, offering many options for Christmas gifts and useful household items. There will also be some Thirty One items and Tupperware. All items are brand new. Twenty per cent of all sales will be donated to Sunflower Estevan to help Ukrainian families, joining the community.
"Come pick up some last-minute Christmas gifts and help us raise money," Bauman said on the event Facebook page.
Valerie Crossman with Sunflower Estevan will also treat guests to some Christmas appetizers and cocktails.
The Sunflower Network has been helping Ukrainians expelled by war to settle in Estevan and other communities for several months now.
