A local residence appears to have been the object of a drive-by shooting incident last week, but no one was injured in the event that was reported to the Estevan Police Service (EPS) Feb. 19.

The EPS report indicated they received the call from a local resident just before 11 p.m. with the caller stating he had found a bullet hole in the side of his home.

When police arrived at the scene, they discovered several more bullet holes in the side of the house.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing and EPS is seeking the assistance of the public in their attempt to solve this matter.

Anyone with information is asked to contact EPS at 634-4767 or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

In other EPS related matters, it was noted that they are investigating the theft of a pair of boots from a local residence. The report was filed on the night of Feb. 15.

On that same evening, police noted that charges were to be placed against a 17-year-old Estevan woman who was the subject of an investigation of breaching court ordered conditions. She now has a new court date.
Police also responded to a business alarm on the night of Feb. 15 and found the building to be secure and no further police action was required.
