Blowing snow advisory issued for southeast Saskatchewan

A blowing snow advisory has ended in southeast Saskatchewan.

SOUTHEAST SASKATCHEWAN – Environment Canada has lifted the blowing snow advisory for the southeast corner of the province.

According to the advisory, issued early Friday, gusty northerly winds, along with falling snow, created poor visibility over southeast Saskatchewan. Conditions are expected to improve on Friday morning as winds subside.

The advisory was lifted late Friday morning, but only after creating problems on highways and municipal roads.
