It was an absolutely delightful and fun evening for everyone who came to listen to author , speaker and educator, Rosebelle Daugela at the Stoughton library, the evening of Sept. 23rd. She engaged the audience with many delightfuland humerous stories,with encouraging words on her mission tospread happiness to others and to encourage othersto do the same.Speaking about her latest book "Gifts From a Loving Heart, a guide to finding happiness and spreading it to others "written in "chicken soup format" style the book shares stories about ordinary, mostly Western Canadians doing extraordinary things.
This very accomplished woman has a B.ED degreeandhas taught elementary, high school and adult education. Together with her husband they built two international businesses, Vertec in Vermillion, Alberta and laterIBEC in Spruce Grove, Alberta.. After her husband died in1990 she and her sontook over the family business. This business was nominated for the Canadian Achievement Award and Rosabelle had the distinction of being the only female manufacturer of agriculture equipment in Alberta!
Born in Cedoux Sask. she lives in Edmonton, busy with her five grown children and nine grandchildren she still finds time to write and speak and is the author of two other books, "My Joy Journal Make Today Your Best Day" and "The Secrets of Joy in Living".
She left us all inspired to find the source of our own joy and to share our joy with others because she concluded "happinessis contageous and your happiness is a gift to others"
